- Vegetable oil
- 1 ginger slice
- 1 pound pork ribs, cut into 1.5-inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon cooking wine
- 1 pound daikon, cut into 1.5-inch long pieces
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
Boil pork ribs in hot water until they become white. Take out pork ribs and discard the water.
Heat a pot over high heat. When the pot is hot, add enough vegetable oil to coat the pan and heat for 20 to 30 seconds. Add the ginger slice. When the fragrance comes out, add boiled ribs and stir-fry them for about 1 minute. Add cooking wine and about 6 cups of water. Cover the pot. When water starts to boil, reduce heat to medium-low. After the soup has cooked for about 1 hour, add radish and continue to heat the soup for another 1/2 hour. Add chopped green onions when the rib meat is really tender and serve.
